Delete your account & data
Applies to the Libriv app (com.materdyjo.libriv)
You can delete your Libriv account at any time, or ask us to delete your data while keeping your account. This page explains how to make the request, what gets deleted, and what we're required to keep.
1. Request deletion
There are two ways to make a request:
- In the app (fastest): open Settings → Account → Delete Account. This immediately removes your account and personal data from our active databases.
- Using the form below: choose whether to delete your whole account or just your data, and we'll take care of it.
2. What gets deleted
For an account deletion, we permanently delete everything below. For a data-only request, we erase the same reading data but keep your sign-in so you can start fresh:
- Account information — your email, username, and profile picture (account deletion only).
- Reading data — your books, reading sessions, progress, XP, levels, League Points, streaks, goals, and Genre Mastery stats.
- Uploaded media — any profile or reading-session photos you added.
- Social data — your feed posts, comments, and book-club memberships.
3. What is kept, and for how long
A limited amount of data is retained after deletion:
- Purchase & subscription records held by Google Play Billing and RevenueCat are retained as required by tax and accounting law. These are stored by those providers, not on our servers.
- Pseudonymous analytics events already collected by Google Firebase Analytics are retained by Google for up to 14 months and are not linked to your identity after your account is deleted.
- Encrypted backups may contain residual copies for a short period; these are overwritten within 90 days.
4. How long it takes
In-app deletions take effect immediately. Requests made through the form are completed within 30 days; we'll email you to confirm once it's done.
